Frank -
Well, we did it!!! It arrived Wed., the 13th. We assembled one arch the
following day, then the group of SUV's from all over Kansas came Saturday.
It was really a lot of fun. We assembled all three arches in a barn, then
transported them by flatbed trailer and carried each to the bridge site. We
had about ten people helping, and it was much easier with that much help.
Here are some pictures -
Sorry for all of your inconvenience - we appreciate the extra effort you
went through to get the material to us in time. All that is left is a bit
of work on the approaches -

The job I'm not looking forward to is dismantling the old one. That is going to be tricky I think. Putting together the new one is childs play in comparison. Especially now we know how it all works.

I'm so glad I didn't try and cut it out all myself, I've no idea how you do some of those things, such as the joints between the main arch pieces.

Well, thanks to a days work yesterday - and lack of rain, we appear to be on
the home straight.
It's looking VERY good now.
