Wooden Privacy and Puzzle Screens
Here is an attention-getting Puzzle-Screen
Make a bunch of these and stack them as high and as long as you like.
Note that the cross bar is on one side of vertical centre.
Looking down, 2 of these (one is upside down) will form an X.
Dimensions and shape don't matter as long as the top & bottom notches are in line
vertically so your wall goes up straight.
CAUTION: Your brain can hurt trying to figure out this one.
If you make the paddles symmetrical,
like a vertical rectangle, oval or circle,
you'll stack a regular, discernable pattern.
If you angle the paddles, as in the above template,
each "X" (2 pairs pinned together) will have an up
or a down orientation.
Paying attention to the orientation, you can stack
an orderly, repeating pattern or a totally confusing array,
like in the above photos.
Cut a pile of these
and make Room Dividers, Privacy Screens, Feature Walls, Balcony Railings or Fencing Panels or . . . . .
These are some sample patterns that can all be assembled by duplicating only one part.
The numbers on top of each pattern are a total parts count of full and shorter pieces.
One full piece can make 2 or 3 shorter pieces so you won't need all that many long pieces.
